Hymn Festival in Memoriam Gerre Hancock, 1934-2012
February 5, 2012, 5:00 pm, Trinity Cathedral
FREE and Open to the ALL
The Trinity Cathedral Choir
Michael Kleinschmidt, Organist and Conductor
Gerre Hancock, the guest artist scheduled to lead us in a hymn festival on February 5, died peacefully on Saturday, January 21, from cardiac arrest.  As a life-long church musician, Dr. Hancock inspired people to sing.  Nothing would please him more than for us to gather, as planned, to raise the roof of Trinity Cathedral in song on Sunday, February 5 at 5:00 p.m.  While Dr. Hancock cannot be with us as organist, he will certainly be with us in spirit!  The hymn festival will be led by Michael Kleinschmidt, Canon for Cathedral Music at Trinity with the Trinity Cathedral Choir.  Mr. Kleinschmidt was deeply formed by his work as Dr. Hancock’s assistant at St. Thomas Church, New York City, 1990-1993.

ECO PALS MEETING
Eco-pals meeting on February 5th at noon in the Morrison Room. All are invited to this brainstorming session for Earth Day 2012! Email kimberlys@trinity-episcopal.org
