Sunday Adult Education: 2010
Every Sunday, 9:00 - 9:45am
Every Sunday Trinity offers forums and classes in a lecture/discussion format that run the gamut of topics from things Biblical, liturgical, historical, spiritual or focused on the broader cultural milieu parish-wide, local, regional, national and global. Taught by a wide variety presenters, each session can “stand alone” even when it is part of a longer series – but you’ll want to join the fun as often as you can.

Sunday Classes
Breath Prayer, Prayer of the Heart, Amicitia, "Friendship with God"
On March 14 and 21 at 9:00 in the Bishop Scott Room, Roy Coulter will offer a class on an ancient meditative form of prayer which has often been called "friendship with God." As important as theology and scripture study are in Christian formation, they are by their very nature, activities of the intellect. Both studies may well lead us to a devotional life, the practical application of our faith applied to the work of prayer and outreach to the world around us. This is what we do with our faith. The sessions offered at these Lenten forums will be less lectures and more practice. Participants will be practicing prayer and examining the deep inner longings of their hearts. Bring a writing pad and pencil, and come and spend some meditative time on your spiritual journey.
