Family Ministries serves the families of Trinity with a variety of activities including:
Sunday church school for ages 3 through High School
Middle and high school monthly activities and events
Middle and high school service activities
Family activities throughout the year

Church School Helpers
There are lots of opportunities to share your interests and time with kids in church school. The roles our adult helpers play are:
Shepherds: these adults stay with a classroom throughout the year and are responsible for greeting children and classroom management
Activity Leaders: share your passion with a group of kids for a one month time period.
Design Team: help plan, organize, and run one month of church school
Storytellers: of any type
Hospitality/Safety: welcome families and patrol church school areas for safety on Sunday morning
Music Leaders: lead group music and singing during gathering time at 10:00
Guild Mentors: members of worship guilds mentor children interested in learning those roles
A criminal background check and participation in a half-day child safety workshop are required. For more information, please check out our SAFE Church Procedures, by clicking here.
Special Event Task Force
Help organize and execute special events such as the Advent Fair or Shrove Tuesday. Participate in one or more events throughout the year in the capacity that best suits you.
Support Services
Work a few hours a week helping to keep our ministry program running smoothly – managing and purchasing supplies, preparing communications, xeroxing, working the information table, keeping track of attendance, and other tasks as they arise. Time commitment: 2-4 hours per month.
Barclay’s Library Technical Crew
Help process children’s books a few times a year for a few hours with a very congenial group of folks.
Chaperones
Experience the fun part of youth ministry! Volunteer to chaperone youth and children’s social events, service projects, or overnights.
Safety & Hospitality
Sundays, 9:45 – 11:30am
Welcome children and families to church school and monitor children and youth areas for safety.
