Cornerstone

Weekly small groups meet to study the Rule of St. Benedict and support each other in their spiritual journeys. Interested folks first attend the Wednesday Weal “Introduction to Benedictine Spirituality” offered in October and meet with Abbot Elaine Stewart.
See Adult Education - Wednesday Weal for a Benedictine Spirituality class.

Elderwise

The Elderwise mission is to develop a sense of community and to provide programs that strengthen inner richness and spiritual growth for those in the second half of life, as well as to use the varied talents and wisdom of elders in the life of the cathedral. Follow this link for a listing of Elderwise events and classes.

Sojourners

Small groups of 8–10 people who meet throughout the year (at times that work for them) for the sheer joy of a shared meal and good conversation. Some groups meet in homes for dinner, some meet in parks and restaurants, others gather with children but the point is always the same – an opportunity to get to know one another better!

AFFIRM

The AFFIRM Committee is an ongoing ministry dedicated to dialogue, advocacy and education with persons in our congregation about the diversity of sexual orientation within Trinity Cathedral and our community. The committee hosts events through the year, such as Friday Night at the Movies, the Pride Parade Marchers, special speakers and study programs. We sponsor the sale of Trinity logo apparel from time to time. The committee meets as needed and meetings are always open to all interested persons. We invite new members.

20/30/40 Somethings

Trinity's 20s/30s/40s is a group welcome to all those who are "young at heart". We gather for movies and beer at McMenamins, hiking, wine tours, camping trips, coffee talk, brunch after church, checking out the Portland scene, visiting the zoo, Japanese Gardens...or anything else we can dream up.
