(Hybrid) Engaging charged political differences can be challenging in our polarized political landscape. We are increasingly conditioned to write off the other side before we’ve begun to understand their point of view, and as the divide grows, we are tempted to surround ourselves only with those who agree with us. How can we learn to listen again?

We will watch a short documentary film that records Republicans and Democrats learning how to talk and listen across the ideological divide of “Red” and “Blue.”  We’ll discuss how their experience applies to our own lives, and where we can go from here to help our country heal.
