Are you a parent, teacher, or coach? Do you play a role in the lives of tweens and teens (ages 12 and up)? This class will feature a different mental health professional every week, each of whom will offer specific ways to support the mental health of young people. Each session will allow plenty of time for discussions and questions. (Hybrid; Led by Jill Sajec, Annie Stewart & Susan Zall)

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 1 in 6 youth aged 6–17 experience a mental health disorder each year. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10–14, and there has been a 31% increase in mental health-related emergency department visits for youth. In this class, you will gain knowledge on how to respond to these spiritual crises.
