Centering Prayer Group
Every Saturday morning
Centering Prayer, developed by Fr. Thomas Keating and his Trappist brothers at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts, updated the ancient contemplative practices of monastic Christianity to fit active, modern lifestyles.
This small group is a wonderful way to find support and training for your Centering Prayer practice. All mindfulness practices & religious traditions are welcome!
If you're new to Centering Prayer, a couple good references are The Path of Centering Prayer by David Frenette or Centering Prayer & Inner Awakening by Cynthia Bourgeault.
