Nathan is a native Oregonian, a pastor’s kid, and a musical theatre geek. With degrees in theology (General Theological Seminary) and English (Whitman College), his great loves are teaching the Bible, exploring Oregon history, attending vintage matinees at the Hollywood Theatre and finding the intersection of popular culture and religion. He also knows how to clog.
Arrival at Trinity:
Nathan first attended Trinity in 2001, when he sang in the choir. He joined the staff in 2009, and after filling virtually every role possible, he became Trinity's Dean in 2016.
If the priesthood thing doesn’t work out, Nathan’s other dream career is National Park Ranger.
