Jeremiah, a native of Pennsylvania, trained and performed as a flutist, making his professional debut at the age of 13. He is a graduate of LSU, the University of Washington, and Mary Baldwin University, earning degrees in music, acting, directing, and Shakespeare. He was a company member of the American Shakespeare Center, where he studied, performed, and directed plays of the early modern period. He taught all-of-the above at Chicago High School for the Arts, the Glee of the midwest.
Jeremiah is currently working on a masters in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy at PSU, inspired by 9 years working as a full-time manny for families in L.A., Chicago, and Portland.
For sanity, he practices Vipassana meditation and regularly attends 10-day silent retreats in Onalaska, WA. He fantasizes about one day becoming a Buddhist monk, living a life of simplicity, silent contemplation, and free from mobile phones and internet hot spots.
Arrival at Trinity:
Jeremiah joined Trinity as a tenor in the Cathedral Choir in 2021 and became the Communications Assistant in the Spring of 2022.
With respect to certain rumors, Jeremiah isn't actually a bullfrog, but he does enjoy spending as much time as possible out in nature and is especially fond of small ponds and creeks.
