Advent arrives on the heels of Thanksgiving, when secular culture finally throws off any restraint it may have used and envelops the world in green and red, cinnamon and pine-scented, flashing lights with a muzak Christmas carol soundtrack. This year, join us on an alternative (or at least a companion) Advent journey - Waiting: An Aural Advent Calendar, a brief daily podcast to help anchor Advent contemplation & reflection in the midst of the hectic secular Christmas season. 

Pause each day for these brief 5-10 minute episodes, original meditations on the theme of waiting offered by a variety of Episcopal and interfaith clergy, as well as musicians, poets, and other aural artists. We hope to tag along with you as you drive to work or linger over coffee, as you prepare dinner or while you get ready for bed – a moment of quiet to help prepare for the extraordinary thing that is about to happen.
