This February, join us as we explore the model we use to make decisions about our Outreach programs – the continuum from charity to service, advocacy, and justice.
February 15: Service
Service requires a commitment of time and includes temporary contact with and focus on those being helped. It can be transformational for the person doing the serving as well as helpful to those in need. We will hear from Portland Rescue Mission staff members, as well as Fumi Tosu of Dandelion House.
