About the Artist

Through a process of play and discovery, photographer Doug Meddaugh explores the natural world, focusing his lens where beauty, serendipity, and inspiration converge. His vivid use of color allows portraiture-style investigations of individual blooms, leaves, and branches. The same color applied to his landscapes creates a sense of deep serenity and confidence in the natural world. In this season of light, these images spark joy.
