About the Event
Explore the many roles women have played at Trinity and in the Diocese of Western Oregon from 1882 to the present. We will trace the long history of women’s leadership, advocacy, and service in this community, from early debates over voting rights to the challenges faced by the first ordained women clergy.
We will also highlight the diocese’s early commitment to girls’ education and shows how these stories shaped Trinity, the wider diocese, and our Episcopal identity.

About the presenter: Catherine Sutton, current Trinity Vestry member, comes from an academic background having taught at independent schools for 15 years and worked as an administrator and professor at the college level for more than 20 years.
