In an era defined by rapid change and rising calls for justice and resistance, Gen Z is emerging as a powerful voice in shaping public policy and civic life.
This course invites adult learners into a timely exploration of how this generation views and engages with critical issues such as progressive Christianity, fighting for democracy, resisting the dismantling and erasure of policies and systems, and learning more about the vital systems and frameworks of public policy.
Grounded in a theological framework, we will examine how the commitments of the Baptismal Covenant—seeking and serving Christ in all persons, striving for justice and peace, and respecting the dignity of every human being—call us to faithful public and civic engagement.
