The Theology of War
In person only; led by The Rev’d Dr. Corbet Clark.
Can war ever be justified under Christian teaching? "Just war" theory in Christianity goes back to St Augustine, but it’s always been controversial, and often abused. Recently Pope Leo has joined the chorus of critics. In this class, we will discuss the theological pros and cons, and implications for current conflicts in the world.
