Aletheia: Waxed Powder Paintings by Corey Pressman
Employing a unique procedure with pigment powder and wax, artist Corey Pressman investigates how moments of revelation—what the Greek tradition names aletheia—arise through subtle shifts in attention.
His practice is devoted to creating conditions in which the hidden, the quiet, and the ineffable become briefly perceptible. Artifacts of aletheia, each work celebrates a small revelation.
