Houseless Ministry Volunteer Training and Info Session (Hybrid)

Would you like to volunteer a few times a year to help support families experiencing houselessness? Trinity is partnering with with Family Promise of Metro East to provide support services to Portland churches as they host houseless families.  Our commitment would be to join a host congregation in bringing meals, providing activities and companionship in the evening, and serving as overnight hosts. We need about 40 Trinitarians to step up in order to make a commitment to this partnership. Youth are welcome to help if they are accompanied by an adult!

About Family Promise: Family Promise is a national 501c3 nonprofits that aims to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response to houselessness. They provide prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent.
