New to Evensong? This is the week to try it.
The Trinity Choir, fresh off their tour to Durham Cathedral, offers a special Instructed Choral Evensong. Canon for Cathedral Music Katie Webb walks us through each part of the service as it happens, offering historical, musical, and liturgical context for this uniquely-Anglican service.
The service includes music by Margaret Burk, Käthe Wright Kauffmann, and Malcolm Boyle. Preceded by a 30-minute Organ Recital by Stephen Price at 4:30 pm.
