About the Event

(In person only) Steve Isaacson, author of Praying with Praying with Saint Benedict, joins us to discuss the practices of Benedictine spirituality and to lead us in contemplative reflections on scripture passages and selections from The Rule of Saint Benedict using the practice of lectio divina. (Free, donations gratefully accepted)

New to meditation?  Come at 8:30 for a quick half hour orientation to a simple mindfulness practice. 

About the presenter: Author and Trinitarian Steve Isaacson is the Prior of the Cornerstone Community, a lay Benedictine group within Trinity. He is also the co-coordinator of outreach ministries at the cathedral, and has served as vestry member, catechesis mentor, lay eucharistic minister, and Diocesan Council representative. 

Contemplative Mini-Retreats take place every 3rd Saturday, 9:00 am-noon. Join us for meditation, contemplative prayer as we sit together in community, with time for reflection, learning, and support, with guest teachers to help us explore the contemplative path.
