About the Event
Join us for nine consecutive nights of Evening Prayer—a novena, an ancient practice of sustained prayer over nine days—as we pray for peace in this troubled time.
We gather at 5:30 pm in the Trinity Chapel every evening from Thursday, February 19 through Friday, February 27, to celebrate the lives of notable peace and justice leaders from our lectionary: Absalom Jones, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Oscar Romero and the martyrs of El Salvador, Frances Perkins, Enmegahbowh, Bernard Mizeki, Pauli Murray, and William Wilberforce.
Let their legacy provide inspiration for our continued prayer and action for peace and justice in our time.
