About the Organist
Originally from Russia, Victoria Shorokhova is an organist and pianist currently based in the United States. She graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory with degrees in piano (2016, Prof. Vladimir Shakin) and organ (2017, Prof. Daniel Zaretsky), and later earned a Master’s in Historical Performance on Keyboard Instruments—organ, harpsichord, and carillon—from Saint Petersburg State University (2019). In 2022, she completed a Master of Music in Organ Performance at Georgia State University (Dr. Jens Korndörfer), where she was a music intern at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a DMA in Organ Performance at the University of Houston with Daryl Robinson and serves as Organ Scholar at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
