Outreach Forum: Justice

This February, join us as we explore the model we use to make decisions about our Outreach programs – the continuum from charity to service, advocacy, and justice. We will hear from faith leaders and outreach workers in the community and reflect on how we can use this model to consider our own efforts in the world.

February 22: Justice

Working for social justice involves empowering those at the margins, developing networks, and organizing communities. It focuses on the root causes of injustice with the goal of changing systems so all have their basic needs met and their rights protected. We welcome Visiting Writer and community organizer Garrett Bucks as he reflects on his own social justice work.
