Outreach Forum: Service

This February, join us as we explore the model we use to make decisions about our Outreach programs – the continuum from charity to service, advocacy, and justice. We will hear from faith leaders and outreach workers in the community and reflect on how we can use this model to consider our own efforts in the world.

February 8: Service

Service requires a commitment of time and includes temporary contact with and focus on those being helped. It can be transformational for the person doing the serving as well as helpful to those in need. We will hear from staff from the Portland Rescue Mission, as well as Fumi Tosu of Dandelion House.
