Former Organ Scholar David Boeckh returns to Portland with tenor Nick Stevens to join Bruce Neswick in a liturgy centered on Charles Tournemire’s Sept Chorals-Poemes pour les Sept Paroles du Christ. Postponed from Good Friday last year, this liturgy will blend the seven movements of Tournemire’s masterpiece with several solo songs written by César Franck and Jean Langlais.
