About the class: (Led by Milt Markewitz and David Mitchell.) Where is Spirit in our efforts to bring healing to the Earth? How might we align with Spirit and connect our efforts with something larger than ourselves? / An Indigenous way of being with creation can help guide our efforts. The people who stewarded the land before us practiced sustainability for many generations, and Indigenous elders warn that personal transformation will be critical to begin to address the climate crisis. Join us as we imagine next steps, connecting with one another and Creation, and finding our place in the work ahead. In Person Only.
About the presenters: Milt Markewitz's current area of study is on the Hopi teaching that accompanies their prophecy of our current unsustainable planet – that a paradigm shift is necessary that embodies ecological balance and communal harmony of our desired future. Milt has co-authored two books, Language of Life: Answers to Modern Day Crises in an Ancient Way of Speaking and To Restore Earth’s Balance: Awakening an Already Knowing. He retired from IBM, where his most significant learning came from implementing complex systems within other cultures, and now focuses on supporting Indigenous Peoples who exemplify the Spirit of Life and by doing so flourished for millennia.
David Mitchell brings years of embodied practice, interfaith dialogue, and creating healing spaces. His deep trust in people doing inner work helps them to find authentic next steps.
