Source texts will include The Rule of St. Benedict, the Psalms, Praying With St. Benedict, and the writings of Thomas Merton. The class is open to everyone, especially those interested in learning more about the Cornerstone Community at Trinity.

About the Cornerstone Community: Cornerstone is a lay monastic community founded at Trinity more than 25 years ago. Some 40 members from parishes in the metropolitan area and France meet monthly as a community and weekly in small groups. They seek to follow The Rule of St. Benedict, grounded in obedience, stability and transformation.

About the leaders: The class will be facilitated by Abbot Elaine Harris, Prior Steve Isaacson and members of the Cornerstone Community. Elaine attempts to live as a monastic in the monastery of her home and gardens. Steve is the author of Praying With St Benedict and recently returned from pilgrimage to Iona.
