Katie Webb

About Katie:

Katie is the daughter of a church musician who loved Evensong far too much to avoid joining the family business. She earned her doctorate in organ performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she also studied choral conducting and taught in the music theory department.

A native Kansan and graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota, she is active nationwide as a choral conductor, composer, and organist. She and her husband Dan enjoy attending CrossFit classes, cheering for the Portland Thorns soccer team, and spending time in the great outdoors with their son Adam and golden retriever Joanie. 

Arrival at Trinity:

August 2020 (although she first visited Trinity in 2013 as a member of the St. Olaf Choir!)

Fun fact:

Katie is an identical twin to Maggie Burk, composer and choral conductor. When they're in the same ZIP code, they enjoy creating spontaneous harmonizations of their favorite hymns.
