About the Event

(Hybrid; led by Dean Nathan LeRud & Bishop Diana Akiyama)

During the pandemic, many churches experimented with alternate ways to celebrate and distribute Holy Communion: drive-by eucharists, streaming services, Zoomcharists, communion in one kind only. What do these innovations tell us about shifting understandings of what  Eucharist is and means for the church - and how might Episcopalians seize this moment of confusion and creativity to clarify what about this sacrament is critical for the work of justice and wholeness?

Note: There will be NO class on September 28, 2022.
