From the proud shouts of “Hosanna in the highest!” to the shameful cries of “Crucify him!” and the dumbstruck silence of the tomb, Palm Sunday takes us through the heights and depths of the human condition as lived in the shadow of fear, death, and political ambition.

    Palm Sunday liturgy with choral music & Communion. Before the service, join us in the courtyard at 9:45 am for a brief Blessing of the Palms for the whole family and a triumphant Palm Procession through the neighborhood!

    A brief outdoor service for the whole family, with blessing of palms and a festive procession around our block in commemoration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem!

The Triduum

The touchstones of the Triduum (the "three days" before Easter—Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday) open us to a deep and prayerful engagement with the drama of Holy Week.
 
We encourage you to find ways to engage in them in your daily life, as well as joining us in person at the cathedral – or online, wherever in the world you are.

Join us as we participate in the ancient rituals of Maundy Thursday—the ritual Foot Washing, the Last Supper, and the Stripping of the Altar.

    The watch begins after the Maundy Thursday liturgy and continues until midnight. Join us as we keep symbolic watch with the disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane. Please enter through the chapel.

    A Good Friday labyrinth walk for reflection & prayer on this solemn & holy day. (In person only)

    Join us at this solemn liturgy of the day, with veneration of the cross, chanted passion, and choral music. (In person & livestreamed. Childcare available.)

We’ll sing the great songs of joy for Christ’s victory over the grave, and we will experience once again that eternal truth: nothing in this world can defeat the resurrection power of love.
